Harbour Town Golf Links to be Featured on 60 minutes Sports

TeamSalari is excited to report that Pete Dye's Story and his Designs are to be featured in a future "60 Minutes Sports" with the story to air in July. Pete Dye gives credit to Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, as the starting point of his design career. He does give credit to Hole Number 13 Of the Links to his wife Alice Dye.
Some of the Dye Golf course Designs include TPC Saw Grass of Ponte Verde and Ocean Course in Kiawah Island.

Golden Bear High School Golf Tournament Indikgo Run

Hilton Head Island's Golen Bear Golf club is hosting the Golden Bear High School Invitational. Frank Salari of TeamSalari was a volunteer for the rain soaked tournament. The Players still pushed through the rain. Play was limited to 18 holes instead of 36 with one round remaining today. As of Saturday Feb. 23rd, Ryan Carpenter is leading the tournament with a score of 71. Hilton Head Christian Academy is the Team leader. Hilton Head Island is fourth as a team. Beaufort High School is eighth. Golden Bear Golf Club is in Indigo Run Plantation. Great to see all the young potential professional golf players of the future on Hilton Head Island.
